Service Description

Day 1: Hometown to Beijing Fly to Beijing. Day 2: Arrival in Beijing Your tour guide will meet you at the airport. Welcome dinner. Day 3: Exploring Beijing Begin your China tour in Beijing, capital city of five dynasties over 800 years. Visit Tiananmen Square. Explore the Forbidden City, an impressive complex of ancient imperial palaces. Evening: Peking Roast Duck dinner and a thrilling Chinese Acrobatic Show. Day 4: Beijing to Xian Tour Great Wall. Explore the Changling Exhibition Hall of the Ming Tombs. Return to the city, and view the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube (2008 Olympic stadiums). Evening: Take a soft-sleeper train to Xian. Day 5: Xian Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum, where you’ll encounter the life-sized defending army created for the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. This site is hailed as “The Eighth Wonder of the World” and ranks among the top archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. In the evening, savor a special Dinner while enjoying a traditional Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show. Day 6: Xian to Luoyang Morning: Visit the Shanxi Provincial Historical Museum. After lunch, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Walk along the Ancient City Wall. Evening: Take a high-speed train to Luoyang. Day 7: Luoyang Tour the Longmen Grottoes. These grottoes are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for their artistic creativity, perfection of an art form, and encapsulation of Tang China’s cultural sophistication. After lunch, take a short ride to home to the Shaolin Monastery. Explore the Pagoda Forest, featuring 228 stone or brick pagodas dating back to 791 AD. This site, along with the Shaolin Monastery, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Witness an exciting Shaolin Kung Fu Show and savor local cuisines for dinner. Day 8: Dengfeng Visit the Iron Pagoda. Explore the Millennium City Park (Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden). The highlight here is the famous 20th-century painting by Zhang Zeduan: “The Qingming Festival by the Riverside.” Evening: Visit the Drum Tower Night Market. Or attend the tremendous culture show: “A Dream of Song China.” Day 9: Kaifeng to Zhengzhou & Beijing Morning: Drive to Zhengzhou and visit the Henan Provincial Museum. After lunch, take a train to Beijing. Day 10: Beijing to Hometown Your China journey concludes too soon. We will assist you with your transfer to the airport. You’ll fly home and arrive on the same day as you leave China.
