Day 1: Canada to Beijing Fly from Canada to Beijing. Day 2: Arrival in Beijing Meet your tour guide at the airport. Transfer to your deluxe hotel for rest. Day 3: Beijing Exploration Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Explore the Temple of Heaven. Welcome dinner featuring Beijing Roast Duck. Optional evening show: “Legend of Kung-fu.” Day 4: Great Wall Adventure Walk along the Juyongguan section of the Great Wall. Visit the Ming Tomb and admire the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Day 5: Beijing Morning: Tour the Summer Palace, a preserved ancient garden. Afternoon: Visit the China Medical Science Academy. Free time to explore the city or join the optional Hutong Life Tour. Dinner on your own. Day 6: Beijing to Xian Morning: Arrive in Xian, an ancient capital. Explore the Terracotta Army excavation site. Evening: Enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty music and dance show. Day 7: Xian to Chongqing (Three Gorges) Morning: Visit the Shanxi Provincial Historical Museum. Lunch: Try local noodles and watch a Noodle Making Demonstration. Explore the Ancient City Wall, an impressive defense system. Fly to Chongqing in the evening and board the deluxe Yangtze River cruise ship. Day 8: Yangtze River Cruise Sail downstream. Shore excursion to ShibaoZhai, a rocky hill with a red pavilion.
